Well.. um.. i no longer have a job q - q
To be fair, i have been stressing out more in the past few months then the years ive been there so i believe the universe was telling me that this event was overdue. ahh i dont know how to act or respond since i was let go so suddenly but i know what path im ready to take on.
For the time being, I’ll attempt to be a full-time artist and try to create as many artworks as I can before deciding to look for work.

From a doodle I drew in 2022 (first video) to completing the doodle three years later!

In the first video, there were two instances where I gave up drawing this piece because my skills weren’t where I wanted it to be. I doodled this once but then a few months later, I redrew it completely and now three years later, I felt more confident in my skills and redraw the drawing into the final piece.

As an artist, I am my biggest critic. I can name so many different instances in my life where I loved a piece of fiction, a photograph, or was inspired to draw a piece about my favorite characters but, I gave up on the idea of drawing them because I believed my skills weren’t good enough.

Over the past few years, I developed this habit of doodling right when I wake up or late in the evening while juggling my full time job so I can still keep practicing art whenever I can. From this, along with being inspired with my current inspiration, vtubers, I was able to come back to this doodle with more confidence.

It’s a long journey and I’m still on this path but I’m super happy how much I’ve progressed and I hope this little bit about me will encourage anyone to take their own path in improving too.

Around a year ago, on May 12 nijiencounter released their first song Infinity with Shu Yamino and Sonny Brisko! From then, every month until their tenth song, they’ve been releasing really unique and beautiful music with different livers!

Decided to draw ren zotto as my first card! I might make more if i have the time ovo;;
Pio-chan created a year long project (thats still ongoing) of artists creating tarot cards based on the current nijisanji en livers! Many artists came together to add into the first deck and theres a second deck coming along the way! Gosh all the cards look amazing and I’m so proud of pio-chan creating all this together TAT

My eyes have been puffy since last night e.e

Words cant describe how much my time here has changed me. I feel as though I’ve matured so much emotionally and in my works because I’ve been more motivated to improve myself and level up rather than staying stagnent.
Sadly I havent really drawn too much lately but I’ve always listened and was drawn to your words and chats about how life goes on in archives, writing, arts and different forms of media.

Originally I was working on another sketch but I decided to go with something I’m more comfortable with which is painting small quiet moments in my life. Oh if anyone is wondering, this is my small energetic chihuahua named coco! She is currently 4 years old!
Hopefully I can keep painting this year since I do miss this feeling of painting traditionally. But I’ll see what I’ll do next!

Another childhood favorite of mine 💕✨
Recently been rewatching a few old shows and I do remember watching shugo chara when I was in middle school. I thought amu-chan was so cool that i also copied her hairstyle a few times. ah.. good memories but gosh i cringe at how terrible my hair looked cuz i was cutting it myself ovo;;

I dont think i ever finished shugo chara so ima spend some time catching up (along with some other shows i forgotten)

Oh one last note, ill be bringing a batch of these to aila next weekend!

Both series gave me so many happy memories and when I saw ranma’s remake, I couldnt help smiling from the music, the design, the story telling, and the way the characters were voiced- aaa it was all so good!
